To Mud Flaps or not ?

I think I really need mud flaps for my car, I do a lot of city driving and then see a lot of gravel backroad so now there's a lot of dirt like grime and these tiny rocks kicking up more than I'd like especially behind the front wheels. I've seen a few options online, OEM and aftermarket, but I'm not sure which ones actually fit well without drilling or messing with the liner.
On second thoughts, are the mud flaps necessary and do they actually help in the grand scheme of things?

Damn if you're passing through lots of gravel backroad, I think mud flaps will really help cut down on chips and grime buildup. I'd say go for it, but make sure you stick with a set specifically molded for your car so you don't have to drill into anything. OEM usually fits the best, but you might wanna consider aftermarkets if you have budget constraints or something.

Can't be 100% certain, but I think that everything is predrilled for the OEM mud flaps, so it's just a matter of getting and fitting them. While they seem like the right choice, I'd look into aftermarket ones. Some arr wider or longer, so they may offer better coverage than the factory ones. Plus, there are soke very good models that could be a bit more durable.
