Front camera warning

My car's showing a "front camera obstructed" alert. I cleaned the windshield carefully, but the message won't clear. I've noticed some condensation inside the camera itself. Has anyone run into this before? Does it clear up on its own?

Condensation in the camera housing's likely the cause and may not clear quickly on its own. If you park in a warm dry spot for a few hrs, sometimes it will sort itself out. If the warning sticks around, you might need the dealer to reseal or replace the camera unit.

If there's condensation inside the front camera, that's not a minor glitch, it's a design flaw manufacturers love to downplay. Moisture in a sealed camera housing shouldn't happen, and waiting it out just risks sensor failure or ADAS malfunctions when you need them most.

Yeah, I've seen that happen before. Condensation inside the camera can cause the alert to stick around until it dries out but it usually clears up on its own after a day or two of dry weather and driving, but if it hangs around longer, it might need a professional check to make sure the seal is not compromised.
