USB music drive format question

I am still learning my new ride and using the USB slot for music. My eBay music drive works fine, but another seller says theirs is in JPG format, what should I ask to be sure it'll work?

For me, it's much better if you ask them if the drive is loaded with actual audio files in a format your car supports, like MP3 or WMA. A drive full of JPGs will only be useful if your system can display images. So, in short, it's useless if your ride doesn't support it.

Are you mainly concerned about file compatibility with your ride's USB system, or do you want to know exactly which formats and folder structures your stereo can read before buying from other sellers?
